Uh no, the Al Gore reference is a reference to a very common joke from 1999, when Al Gore said in an interview that he "took the initiative in creating the internet." From that, the jokes flew, and became a popular joke and method of sarcasm, in response to hearing or reading something that reeks of ridiculous untruth.

You say you've been hearing that nonsense ever since Al Gore invented the internet. It's called a joke, and has nothing to do with politics and everything to do with celebrity gaffes.

When pressed, they would even eat each other.

The Iceman, 5,000 years old, was filled with goat meat when he was murdered.
And thats why they all lived to the ripe old age of 30.

Hey, you're the one pushing Paleo.

And I doubt they died because of malnourishment if the average lifespan was 30.

I want to see a source in any case.

Are you going with what the Paleo diet really was for the Paleo people, or just using the term as convenient though misleading hook?

Then as now, people eat meat whenever they have a chance to.

Unless you are intellectually opposed to killing animals, or have some ingrained belief about diet. Hey, it's a free country.

Not sure what you think the diet is but meat is a major component of the Paleo lifestyle.

I am not pushing Paleo, I think its a fad. I am against eliminating any food group. I advocate eating fresh foods, not prepackaged, or highly processed crap.

I think they may have had fire in the Paleo era. However if raw meat is what you like heres some ways to get creative with it.http://www.laweekly.com/squidink/201...e-like-it-cold
I'm not consciously doing the Paleo diet its just a conveniently short term that describes my normal eating habits.
As for the $500 it seems to go to posters who generate a lot of conversation in multiple sections.,
this current contest is about over, but enter the next one,you might win..
