Timothy P & The Rural Route 3 was a Little Bear staple. Remember 'Pop Yer Top Night'?

Sure do! I saw Timothy P and Rural Route 3 a couple times!

A couple other Colorado bands in the country rock vein who I saw play there was Dusty Drapes and the Dusters and the Starlight Ramblers.

One of the BEST nights I had in there was when Rick Roberts of Firefall just happen to walk into the place, pull up a chair, play a dozen tunes, and walk out again! At that time of his career Firefall as a band weren't formed yet. In the last 15 months Roberts had released a couple solo lp's distributed by A&M Records (one is self titled, the other is She Is A Song.) If I had a time machine handy I'd go back the summer of 1973 through the summer of 1974. I went to SO many cool concerts from Michael Stanley at the old Oxford Hotel to CSNY/Beach Boys/Jesse Colin Young at Mile High Stadium on July 24, 1974. Great times for sure!

"The Auctioneer" by the Starlite Ramblers was hot for them for quite awhile...saw them play in Longmont seemed like every Friday night in the early '80s.
