Do the Red Sox play basketball?

2004 ALCS. Yankees lead 3-0. Red Sox win in 7.
2007 ALCS. Indians lead 3-1. Red Sox win in 7.

no no. i'm talking nearly throwing the thing away in the first 4, outscored 24-14. nearly CHOKING on the hope. much like they'll be doing in the next 4. i'm fully anticipating feeling sorry for them in a week. "man, how'd they throw that away? and they looked so strong in game 1. almost wish the rocks weren't so good when it counts. hope it doesn't go to their heads."

go rocks!!!

I think it will be more like.."well, the Rockies put on one of the best post-season runs in history but they just were overmatched and outplayed."

Sorry, but there's always next year...actually, probably not...

As a "die-hahd" Red Sox fan, "there's always next year" was used in my home in October more than "Trick or Treat!"

lol

post season? how about TWO MONTHS. ok. so they take 8 days off and lose a little steam. what ahve they done ALL season? oh yeah. clean up against every big team out there, NL OR AL. clean up under pressure EVERY time. CRUSH the red sox 19-3 in 2 games.

they know where they need to be. and they get there. this is a solid team of underpaid guys that just get it DONE. with class and a mere 29% of revenues - and these ain't yankees or red sox revenues - to good guys. just do what you've been doing, gentlemen. you'll be juuust fine.

it's been so long since i've been a baseball fan, it's silly. haven't honestly REALLY cared since the 78 yankees red sox game - the "boston massacre" when guidry, reggie and, dun dun dun dunnnn - bucky put the hurt on. not that i was ever much of a yankees fan, but those were just exciting times for everyone involved, and THAT's fun to see. good energies. and now living minutes away from coors field ...

GO ROCKS!!! woooooo!!

lol
