A team of investigative reporters from around the country reviewed the transcripts released by McCulloch's office, which included law enforcement interviews with 24 witnesses. Most conspicuous in its absence was the joint federal-county interview with the witness who had been closest to the deadly confrontation, Michael Brown's friend Dorian Johnson.
I'd like to know what the star witness had to say about how things went down. Do you know if he's been interviewed since then? I remember the last time I saw him he was stating that he hadn't changed his story at all. I'd like to see if it matches up with his tv interviews.
I wouldn't go with many. This thought that there is a lack of value for education in black communities is a joke. Very, very few people think of education as a bad thing.
That sounds logical, but it is not reality for many blacks.
I have had friends or met guys who were essentially disowned by their black peers because they were trying to get ahead. I know it sounds absurd, but there are elements of the black culture/community that discourages getting ahead through peer pressure.
For instance a guy who was a security guard at a local hospital. He was getting slack from his friends for that, but if he became a cop, he would be "a sell out to whitey" and dead to them. As it was, many were giving him a rough time for being a security guard and taking part time criminal justice classes to try and get ahead.
Of course my advice was to get new friends as they were only going to impede his goals. But advice, even sound advice, does not always trump childhood relationships.
The bottom line is that wherever black kids are learning to be anti-establishment/white (i.e. against assimilating into American culture), must be stopped before more kids minds are poisoned to the point of destroying their futures.
I have served several times on Grand Jury and there are times a GJ cannot agree on a decision and when the vote is taken there isn't enough to indict. Since GJ voting is secret and no one is in the room except them, we cannot determine why they made their decision People are placing blame without considering the actual process.
Until "the community" realizes that the Michael Browns of the world are their scourges and the Darren Wilsons are their heroes, they will never escape downward spiral they have jumped into.
So Dorian Johnson's FBI interview was withheld from release, so it would appear that I was correct previously that Dorian had cut a deal. The FBI is protecting evidence from coming out about this deal.
It would fit in well with his past. He snitched before.

Especially interesting since he was offered qualified immunity for his federal-county interview, which were the only conditions under which he would talk to county police.

I don't think Darren Wilson is a hero, but I think it is a further stretch to think the thug who strong armed a store owner is a martyr.
