Black people in the United States of America make up 12% of the population = 40 million in total.
There are 50 million hispanics = 16% of the population.
You could have easily googled this information. It was in the 2010 census.
And what about prison population. Do you have the figures for that? So blacks make up 12% of the American population and how much of the prison population? I'm so poor at googling. Help me out, please.

Yes, and apparently it's conspiring to keep the black man down by making standardized test question culturally insensitive, thus making sure that the upper echelons of education will be an exclusively white and yellow affair.
So today, black africans are claiming to suffer the same hard handed history lessons that white thugs experienced in the 1950s ... Johnny Cash lived it, and today who is it? Blacks selling single cigarettes who can't breathe?
It's not a race issues ... it's a defiance of authority issue.

Actually that is not correct.
This has been studied from the first works by Shockly, a prof, at Berkley, in 68, and later by Jenson.
Now after almost 50 years of testing under every possible situation the conclusion is blacks score, on the average 10 to 15 % lower than whites.
The testing includes memory and math, which has no cultural barriers., and scores are the same.
(A) Because you can't be a cop with a criminal record.
(B) Because "snitches get stitches" in the black community.
But more likely is many people want to bitc# about a problem rather than become part of the solution. Much, much easier to sit back and point fingers than get off your arse every day and put on a uniform and try to help things.
The starting pay for a ferguson officer is $28k. There are other municipalities in the area that are much higher in pay. The combination of those two things alone drive away many potential applicants. Just an FYI, Ferguson does not have a residence requirement to be an officer there. I think that's part of the problem with most of the departments in St. Louis County. Many officers just see it as a job and have no vested interest in the well being of the neighborhoods they police.
To cover some things that we are all aware of .. the town of Ferguson is roughly two thirds black - the police force is almost all, if not fully all, white. I think that we can all agree that the black people in Ferguson are not being represented by having a fully (or almost fully) white police force (and that point had also been made by Holder and those other dems).
It was only recently the town is majority black, even ten years ago it was majority white.
Stating that black cops need to hired to improve relations is basically stating that; the people in the town are racists; or the cops are racist; none of which are substantiated. However, with a few self declared representatives of the town declaring "there should be more black cops", it appears the former has a better chance of being true.
The town recruits from the St. Louis MSA, in which the town has less than the availability of blacks as a cop, but on by a few percent.
Also, as of yet, no one has shown any of the hiring data for this town, no one has any idea how many blacks have actually applied for a cop position. The town cannot hire blacks if they do not apply and/or are not qualified.
To suggest that black cops should be hired based on them being black is discrimination, the same thing it seems many people are complaining about.

Agreed; but it needs to be emphasized that misuse, as well as defiance of authority, contributes to the problem,
and that life on the street is a far cry from life in the constant polite self-effacement of the "Korporate" world,
or life in the high-demand, fast-pace workplaces that characterize much of present-day employment,
or life in a feminized, over-sensitized office modeled after a junior-high classroom.
Out there, a mistake, or a misinterpretation of somebody else's actions or intent can easily get you seriously hurt -- or worse. It applies to both sides of the cultural divide, and any fool who thinks that more outside pressure applied by Big Brother will help, or even clarify things, ought to have his/her head examined.
