Yep, was snowing steady in Glastonbury, big heavy sticking flakes. Started around noon. Home now in Farmington, about 2 inches on the deck and it's steady. Nothing crazy, but for this winter it counts.

We had 1-2" of snow, but now it's a sort of snowy rain, or rainy snow. Just yucky.

Radar not picking up accurate ground data. It was mix snow in Redding and this was the scene in Danbury as it was all snow from start. I heard Winsted has 4 inches on ground.
I wish blocking was a feature.

Cars were coming south with a ton of snow on them.

Freezing line has stalled and wont move north any further but warming layer above is warming. Coastal low about to form but I think it will all change to liquid now. Will be interesting to see.

Uh...no. What about the snow and 0.25 mile visibility in Hartford as of 5 pm? and a special weather statement issued by BOX to advise of heavy bursts of snow from Hartford to Providence?

I'm hearing on the news that we will likely have more snow tomorrow, with a new system? It looks like it's pretty much done here for now.

Trying to catch up on some stuff. The bulk of it is done. Once again another fast moving system that was supposed to start tonight.

Coastal low will pass south of us tomorrow and the Upper level low north of us so snow and mix precip should continue tommorrow but Light.

EXPECTED ACROSS NORTHERN LITCHFIELD COUNTY

Advisories elsewhere.

We've got about 5 inches here in North Granby. The ride home this afternoon was quite difficult on my Bristol to North Granby commute up 179 to 219. Several dangerous situations.

Here is the current radar - looks like the precip is just about done in the Tri-State area. There appears to be alot of holes in CT and NJ is dry. Zero snow on the ground here along I-95 in the New Haven/shoreline area :

Looks like temps stay above freezing for us in far southern and coastal CT, so just rain
