March 1, 2012 Storm update:

Latest GFS just turned into a warm flooding rain event. LOL!! It will be the usual back and forth but the storm is still showing up. In fact the latest has a strong front come through not an individual storm.

Couple of small waves this week and next but not a big deal. Some drizzle, some flurries.

My real question is do you think we'll see any snow NEXT DECEMBER. From here on in...the long term odds favor a big snowstorm by next December.

A warm March looks to be on tap for the East Coast based on the models....I think the chance of any true cold/snow is 1000 to 1:Brett's newest update says the window is closing fast for winter in the eastern USA:

AccuWeather.com - Brett Anderson | Ontario Snow Threat Friday (http://www.accuweather.com/en/weather-blogs/anderson/ontario-snow-threat-friday/61837 - broken link)

I love the last part of what he writes....

Question is how much...and where? I think we have better odds seeing 1" snow that melts day after then a 6-10" that sticks around.

Looking at the last gfs update northern CT has 3" on ground in 4 days. Which is hard to believe if its going to get into the 50s. Lmao
