My thighs are screaming from an estimated 6 miles of snowblowing in less than a week's time. Working a 300 lb machine while exerting downward pressure on a 10% slope is quite a workout. Throw in a few days of hard skiing and the legs are crying for mercy. No mas!

long term/monday through friday
southern trough moving through the gulf coast states monday and off
the coast tuesday morning not phased with the northern stream trough
which lags into tuesday. At the surface a broad low develops over
the ohio valley into the tennessee valley sunday night into monday.
Ecmwf a little slower than the gfs with the progression of the upper
trough and surface low...and leaned toward the slower solution which
has been consistent the last couple of days. With the slower
solutions warmer air will move up along the coast during monday and
into monday evening. Still going with chance pops for the storm. As
of now will be a light wintry mix once again. With the slower ecmwf
chance that precipitation could linger into early tuesday.

Cambium, where do you get those maps and updates? Is there a website you could link with those forecast models and maps. Thanks!

Today's storm is looking quite benign now......weakened a lot and most places getting snow, sleet, and rain (yes rain!) alternating back and forth (the Weather Channel map for our area is wild.....looks like a pink/blue/light green checkerboard....never saw a weathermap like that one). NWS now saying all areas transition to rain at some point (I think 3pm for the most northern and inland zones).

So maybe Monday night into Tuesday will be a "dud".

Plan your golf game between the 15th - 18th... Wait a second... I just remembered, there's no grass showing. lmao... good one.

Temps should be in mid to upper 40s during those dates

And people say I'm bias to cold forecasts.

But after that warm up we then drop back to 20s again. Snow pack should last till end of March.. lol

It's been raining a little here since Noon or so. No sleet, no snow. Nothing right now.

Thursday night is the most socialable time of the week for me, so I rather the snow hold off until Friday the 11th.
