Models trended warmer for CT as the storm is not off the coast.

I started a thread for the Christmas Eve storm, will be posting updates in there and occasionally in here for CT info.

Good news for all - otherwise travel plans go into disarray.

NWS now saying maybe some (I'm sure not a lot of....) snow on the back end Friday night when the temperatures crash.

Makes me wonder about things like the Christmas Day storm of 2002 where it started out warm and rainy but the day ended snowy and icy (even in NYC itself!) somewhat unexpectedly. I guess we'll see...I know plenty of other times where the crashing temperatures came after the precip ended....

Gotta worry about Flash Freezes. Temps should be crashing hard Christmas Eve morning.

Any snow on the backside will be associated with the Arctic front. Might be a white Christmas afterall but we will be missing the snow "storm"

Miserable.. Cold without Snow. I should of figured. We go through a decade of most snow we ever seen, I should of known we would have to live through the other end of the extreme.

GFS says theres enough precip and the cold air crashes so fast that the rain turns to snow Friday night. So maybe just maybe some of us will have a nice landscape for Christmas

A light dusting would be nice, not enough to break out the shovel.
