Because our other weather thread was approaching 1,000 pages, I shut it down and am starting this new one. JayCT, Moderator

First one!

Think the rain is done for Hartford County? Wundermaps is still showing some radar but my phone app (MyRadar) has it more south.

Sun just peeked out I have blue skies to the west and some grey to the east.

I thought we would get to 1,000 pages on the old one before the thread broke.

WOW! Even I got a post in this thread before Cam! He must be slipping!

Here I thought the front was coming through in the 5 pm hour yesterday. The wind went from nothing to very gusty and then poured for several minutes. This was along Farmington Avenue (CT Route 372) in Berlin. Then there was a shower or two while I walked along Berlin Road (CT Route 372 again) in Cromwell, past their Walmart and into Middletown along CT Route 217. Showers seemed to stop at of-1 AM. The light rain was back when I woke in the 7 AM hour.

This front seems to be taking its sweet time. It's still mostly cloudy in the Kensington section of Berlin now. Drier and maybe 73 degrees.

UPDATE: A little sun now popping out at 1:15 PM.

Wow, almost the 10th anniversary of this thread.

In regards to your post, yes the last post of the old thread, yes high temperatures are generally not moving in a statistically significant way (and seem to be on a slightly downward trend) though if you do the chart for low temperatures, they are way up in the last 30 years.

I get dibs on the first weather complaint! Too cloudy today. I don't care if it's 75 with low humidity, I hate clouds! I want July back!
