Looking ahead for us... warm up coming this week then rain. No snow next 10 days.

Big storm around the 5th of January to watch. Right now the track is WEST of us.

looks like an Interior/Great Lakes winter this year.

Torch is used so loosely in winter. Heaters will still be needed Highs would be 50s at most. Just say "very warm", not "torch".

I like Hanrahan but he does to this every year. He likes to use the word "torch" about once or twice a winter to make it seem like people will be running to the beach putting on sunscreen in January. While I personally do believe it exists to a degree, he really tries spook people about a rapidly changing climate. On his twitter I think he likes to come off as an every day man but he is still media after all. He does want everyone to think the way he and his network does.

Horrible pattern coming up but if its not gonna snow, then I don't mind 40s and 50s. It's still cool enough for fresh air.

Max temp projection from Euro00 model. These days come with clouds and/or rain. Except Maybe Friday might be sunny and 50s. Wow!

Friday Dec 30th

Saturday Dec 31st

Sunday Jan 1st

A cool down next 2 days then look what it has for Wednesday Jan 4th. LOL!

New Years Eve day max temps.

Only once in past 7 yrs has it stayed under 40.

It always seemed like we get fog on New Years Eve for some reason. Strange. Fog happens when warm air comes over cold water and soil or snowpack.
