Boston hasn't seen 1 inch yet. This looks like it might do it. Just started sticking now but the edge is near. Maybe it wont do it.

South coast of Maine got 1-3"

Central CT has been dreary most of the day. Drizzle in the morning, then just very overcast. Not cold--and I will take this as long as it wants to be here. Take the snow to the North Pole!

YES!!! Come to the bright side Cam, it's nice here

I swear I saw some snowflakes in the hills of Marlborough today. I'd also swear it got lighter outside late this afternoon for a few brief moments!

All models agree on a big storm next week and you wont need your shovels.

When will it be too late to wave the flag?
How long will we play the push back game?

Spring is in 1.5 months now. I want Spring in March so we only have 1.5 months left to get winter going!

Things are starting to fall in place for us. We have been wanting to move to NC, and keep hitting road blocks, minor road blocks now that can be easily handled, wouldn't mind our last Northeast Winter being mild

I know a lot of people up here love a mild winter but doesn't that mean we're going to have a terrible spring/summer/fall for ticks?

If you don't remember it (or are too young to?) look up January of 2000. First two weeks were as warm as now if not warmer then last 2 weeks had a sharp reversal, one of the coldest 2 week periods ever with some snow. Net net had month ending up around normal.....

I can't remember which year it was (I'm sure Cam has posted the data) but one Winter when I lived in Stonington it was warm and rainy Jan-Mar with very little snowfall except maybe 1-2 random low accumulation events and I was finding ticks on my dog daily during that whole time (Winter) and then even more through Spring. Granted we were walking on all the trails there in the woods but was otherwise unusual to find them that time of year.
