Latest 4K NAM hardly show any accumulation of snow for the area.

Looks like it was!! Keeps showing up. That's it guys.. 6 more days then back to seasonable warmth. Could be an awesome weekend next weekend.

Snow might stick around for another week I believe. Wow.

Current Map. 2 things.

1. Compare this radar to the Blizzard day. lol. Pretty much weak, nothing worrysome.

2. I didn't realize it was gonna be another cold morning. Teens in Danbury! Isn't it cloudy??

I'm getting really tired of loading the wood stove now. I don't usually do this much in March. Feels weird for sure. Tired of layering up as well.

Wow huge difference between Danbury and even White Plains this morning in temperature!

NWS lowered their totals. Their "at least this much" maps shows no one getting any accumulation, "Most Likely" shows 1-2" for everyone, and "At Most" shows 4-6 but last night it was showing 6-9.

Funny about your chart, Lee Goldberg on Channel 7 last night also said we'll start going near to a bit above normal after the 25th as well

Radar loop last 4hrs. 5:50-9:50am.

JFK was reporting flurries/light snow for a little bit.

Raggedy looking radar. Lacking precip big time. #NoBigDeal. (except near Buffalo)

Enjoy your day guys. Just heads on some snow showers mostly for coast. Don't expect anything more even overnight.

Looking at the forecast and my 6" snowpack still, I calculated that by mid week I should have a thin 2" snowpack left. By next weekend only piles and shady traces around. That means another week still looking at snow on ground! So weird.

Probably a foot still out where we live. The most annoying part is can't really run in the roads some still are 1 to 1 1/2 lanes. The snow banks are slowly melting. I feel we will need a good stretch of 50 to meet this snow.

What I am finding interesting is north of I-84 seems to be melting FASTER than south and I have to contribute that to 1 thing....

Sleet and layer of ice in the snowpack closer to the coast. It's preserving it so its melting slower than a snowpack just made of snow.

Also. Sun angle didn't do squat. Folks really need to remember that. It was the warmer temps that let it melt faster.

Of course there's never just "1 reason" for anything, its multiple factors but interesting to keep track of for sure.

Hooray for nice people...I hadn't gotten the front walk before it froze and one of my neighbors shoveled while I was at work. Wow!
