Wow. Thanks for digging up such numbers. Remember, there is no such thing as cold, it is only inadequate clothing.

I hiked thru snow last weekend, loved that a very crowded park was empty. I was thinking of taking my kayak out next weekend, but we'll see.

I sort of am as well. But going to try and enjoy it because eventually the heat and humidity will be here. I have this feeling its going to be a scorching hot and humid summer. I have a ton of outdoor projects I can't wait to get started and spring and fall is the best time for outdoor work.

Currently 15 degrees here.

Not sure about that site but I just checked another official site and its the same. March & Feb 1880 had same Avg temp in NYC of 36.5°

That was one good thing about this month, I actually was given a chance to hike and take pictures of the landscape. Unlike a normal March where it snows and you have like 2 hours to enjoy it. lol

True about the humidity and I know it will get to me but I will try my best to not let it annoy me. I'm also itching to do some outdoor projects. I still got snow and its just too cold. We used to get these cold and snowy months in December, sick of getting them in March past few yrs. Enough is Enough. It's a Spring month.

This should be interesting.............. It would be a rare occurrence if March was colder than all 4 months prior. Still 9 days left so we'll see.

But If March ends up colder than February it will be over 3 decades since that happened.
March colder than January been over 50yrs!

There are many more sites with similar stats.

What's the chances we get one more snowstorm? Anything showing in the longer term models? I'm hoping we get one more snowstorm and then it goes right to 60s/70s in April and not that dreary cold 50s.

I hate this cold with no snow. What a waste of cold. It was disgusting outside yesterday.
