Latest GFS12z. Forget the conversion. Just know negative double digits at 5000' is going to mean a cold surface

Problem is..... It's over 9 days away. I seen the cold get pushed back and back so that's why I got a question mark on it.

Will it actually happen end of month? But for how long? Could be 2 days then warm right back up. Could it be for a week? Snow during that cold period? We'll see.

For now, no arctic air or snowstorms being shown for AT LEAST 8 days!

All winter long? As in no fluctuations? No big ranges? I don't think there is a place. Unless it was when the climate was never changing. Then nothing happened back then.

Speaking of ... Climate Change is saving California. lol

Stunning day today.. Nostalgic actually. Temp in mid 40s with a nice north breeze..

Lunchtime temps and Satellite.. Looks like a cloudy interior. Loving the coast for this reason today. Although looks like Bridgeport and New Haven area looks cloudy. Might just be for this captured moment. Sunny on Long Island

Models trending a tad colder for the "big storm" Monday-Tuesday. That means heads up interior CT for now sleet, ice and snow that would be in the mix.

NWS Binghamton just posted this...

Last line is important with this graphic

Models have trended colder for sure but still a warm storm. Probably interior frozen stuff and mountains of course. We'll have to see how much moisture it has too.

New NAM getting into range. Crashes the 850 level to support snow in southern NY and CT Sunday night. I'm not buying this yet
