Latest SREF gives NYC and area 4-6". Crunch time now. Snow to start in a few hours here.

Don't forget the plumes. Just point and click on the map. Make sure you choose SNO for snow totals and its on the latest update! NCEP SREF Plume Viewer

Almost 6" mean for Bridgeport with members over 7 inches. Some under 2 inches

Nothing much on radar yet, kinda looks eery because we usually see a slug of moisture from the south within 6-12hrs. There's nothing!

Should ramp up this evening though. Cold today struggling past 30s. Feels like winter

I'm at 43 degrees and I'd swear it was 23 when I woke up around 6am.

We saw flurries an hour or so ago, but it didn't last long.

Flurries over the Litchfield hills too.

Roof cam

Just lit the stove as well. Just going to sit back and see what happens. Winter weather advisory just expanded for New Haven County.

One thing is for certain. The cold is quite impressive today. Currently 38 here.

ALL LATEST TRENDS DO IS RE-ENFORCE FACT THAT WESTERN EDGE OF SNOW SHIELD IS GOING TO BE HARD TO PIN DOWN UNTIL EVENT GETS UNDERWAY OVER THE AREA.
CONFIDENCE HAS INCREASED TO THE POINT THAT WINTER WEATHER ADVISORIES HAVE BEEN EXPANDED TO INCLUDE NEW HAVEN AND MIDDLESEX COUNTIES IN CT...AND NASSAU AND WESTERN SUFFOLK COUNTIES ON LONG ISLAND.
