You guys are sounding like a broken record .. Yes we get it , it will get warm again. What do you expect temps in the 30s for a long period in late MArch when the average high is 50? The fact a snowstorm is coming is an anomaly in itself. If we pull off a foot it's a rare event indeed. Getting snow in late march not so much ..but a major snowstorm? Goes to show you. Some cold air and a perfect track and you can get a storm anytime from late October to mid April

I am now confident this will be all snow even to the coast. And we could have winds as well.

It will look, sound and feel like winter outside Sunday evening and night. 'That' is the exciting part and the concerning part for travelers. Not what it does when its over. Who cares about how long it sticks around, its not ike we are trapped for days even in middle of winter. (Unless its 3 feet or with leaves on trees).

Prepare yourself for the storm itself, not for the sound of melting. We will be shoveling Monday morning. Likely plowing too. We'll see

The Euro just loaded and its East more which means less snow. . Bit still over 8" for Boston. 3-6" across CT.. Will post map soon.

Think that's the greatest think Cam said keep the storm moving East. Any idea heard snow coming early on Sunday and not Monday. Hoping it comes more Sunday and not Monday.

Latest Euro snow total. See the East shift and late phase? Heaviest is over Rhode Island and Eastern MA with that update.

On March 4th a coastal storm missed us by 200 miles with a big snowstorm... will this too???? Gees

Thats all we can do is use the tools at hand to see the latest projections. Thats why forecasts always change and you should never guarantee what you see past 3 days.

Lets see what happens today

Forecast for CT. Lows around 20° for 4 of next 8 days north of the coast. Starting mid week we get back to Spring mode.

Any idea of the timing of the storm. Need to head north on Sunday so wondering the weather for travel during the day. Jay.
