Lunch time Temps with Satellite in NorthEast. Some areas with full sun staying in the single digits. Beautiful cold clouds over the Atlantic.

I'm Still wearing the same thing I wear at 20° not feeling the cold. (just my hands) Long Sleeve and Hooded Sweatshirt with Jeans and 1 pair of socks. No jacket. No scarf. Walked my dog for half hour. Didn't bother her either.
10°F, Wind Chill of -8°F, Winds Gusting from West 30mph.

House and deck still popping once in a while

This might warm you up... How about a side by side of current wind chills and the heat index from 5.5 months ago.

Don't you hate when this happens?

Since 4am BDR hasn't gone above 12°F, the Top 10 coldest low max is 13F. That means today would of been a Top 10 coldest day on record for any month.

Unfortunately at midnight it was mid 20s. So it ruins the daily low max record and the charts with highs and lows and it wont even be near the Top 10 coldest on paper.

That happened on Christmas 1980. BDR was 28° at midnight and didn't pass 4 degrees after 6:30am. Wow. It stayed below 5 degrees all day!

I'll grab the Highs and Lows in the morning. It wont look pretty since the Highs came at midnight and deceives how cold it was today.

Current Watches & Warnings map for Northeast. Wind Chill Advisories remain for all 8 CT counties.

...WIND CHILL ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 8 AM EST
WEDNESDAY...

* HAZARD TYPES...BITTER COLD AND WIND.

* WIND CHILL VALUES...AS LOW AS 15 TO 20 BELOW ZERO.

* WINDS...WEST 10 TO 20 MPH WITH GUSTS UP TO 35 MPH.

* TEMPERATURES...ZERO TO 8 ABOVE ZERO.

Glad you liked it. Wont be long before we're mowing the lawn sipping Pina Coladas and needing Sunblock and shade.

Here's the forecast for Waterbury, I haven't looked into Friday but surprised to see all snow being shown. I have to check things out tomorrow. It has to be light stuff. Maybe 1-2" is my "guess" without looking.
