It was much colder Fri night / Sat morning. I'm not sure why the media is suddenly freaking out over this.

Wind chills in the negative teens and the highs today in single digits is not something we've experienced in years. Maybe someone can correct me on that if I'm wrong.

I'll have to go with Mike on this on this one, while Wind Chills may be a bit lower this morning, Saturday was a colder day. I never broke 10 degrees and spent until 11am below zero.

As much as it's been cold..... Having a day or days being 50 ruins it for me. It's winter..... Not spring.

Paul Piorek of News12 threw boiling water in the air and it turned to snow. We don't get the chance to do that often in Connecticut. See his video here.

5 of the 6 Upton climate sites broke records today: NYC: 5, JFK: 7, LGA: 5, EWR: 4, ISP: 9. If they go lower they'll update. BDR was 1 degree off.

9am temps. Not often we track that 0 degree line in Fahrenheit.

I'm reading a bunch of conflicting weather reports for my town (Trumbull) for tonight. Some reports say it is getting down to only 11 (weather.com), while others report it's getting way down to 3 (NWS). Gonna be another cold one either way.
