I was going to hat tip you but figure I wait another week or so. lol.

Definitely feel and see the change of pattern but we wont know it did yet. Temps moderate into the 30s Sunday. Its what happens after that will tell us if you were right or not. :-) Yeah, no snowstorms in sight still but somethings may be brewing.

1st 6 days of January is the 21st warmest January 1-6 period on record for BDR. 3.6° above normal! So we had to wait yet another week extra to get this pattern (if we can call it that yet!) Might just be a blip and back to average/warm in a couple weeks.

Here in Middletown, we had a nasty little snow squall spin through around 2:30 PM. With the high winds it almost looked like a blizzard.

Yeah, some impressive squalls out there. Ahead of the front it was too dry but as the front is coming through it created some instability right along it.

mid 30s on Friday and Sunday?? What pattern change? lol

I think like the other day. T-2". not motivated to stay on top of these teaser events.

Are you noticing this yr I'm not really mentioning storms being shown 7+ days out? Models cant handle this winter for some reason so I don't bother. With that said, lets see if next Thursday can produce a widespread 3"+ snowstorm for us. lol
