6:45am view from Ridgefield, CT webcam showing the pink/red sunrise and the fog. Calm winds. Warm morning 59°F. (about 20 minutes north from me)

Red sky at night sailors delight. Red sky in morning sailors take warning. Guess some rains are coming.

BDR is ON the water. That is why. Even a few miles inland would make a big difference

Ok, we're getting closer to mid October. I don't see anything extreme yet. We're going to get a couple of cold shots (1-2 days) then seasonable. Freeze/frost threat mostly mid October.

I'll be bringing in my tropical plants this weekend. 40s by 8pm Saturday. Cold Sunday morning, Sunday and Monday morning.

Curious if these guys change the forecast for Sunday/Sunday night. Lets see. GFS is colder. Euro is warmer at this point.

Here's todays 8 day forecast for shoreline and inland CT

8 Day Forecast | WTNH

I think Sunday might be the day most turn on the heat. Not sure yet. If it struggles past 50s most likely little heat would be needed.

During storms we'll mention NY when talking about whats about to come into CT so stay tuned.

Right now indications are higher elevations only in NY "could" see snowflakes mid month. Some interesting features showing up in the long range but not worth mentioning yet. (NOT snow for us; just the pattern)

If September ends up below 65.2° it will be a first

End of August I made that prediction that BDR would end up being warmer than normal in Sept based solely on that fact.
