At the beginning of the month, it was supposed to be a very cold September. Now, predictions have changed and they are now calling an above average September.

Cool days not lasting long. Warmth lasting longer. New pattern. Seasonable to above normal and muggy.

Enjoy this cool dry Canadian air while we can.

I agree with you guys September should be above normal.

Graph of my dewpoints here. DRY 51° this morning.

You can see the main range since June 1st has been in the 60s. Not many days less than 55.

I have to check that 80+ there in June. Calling Quality Control LOL
I'll go into the log and fix if it was a spike error.

Cambium, I see you have two hobbies: weather and ranting about traffic .

Lol. Yup.

Dry night! It was amazing how cool it felt while temps weren't that cool. Dewpoints make a huge difference in how the air feels.

But Out of curiosity I took a drive 5 miles away (15 minutes) north of me using the car thermometer to see the drop..(no sun out 10:30pm). My house 61°F. 5 miles away deeper into the woods 58°F. Air felt better just that short distance away.

All main stations in CT showing 60s

Westhampton and Marthas vineyard are not correct. Water temperatures are too high even with radiant cooling. WUnderground stations nnearby didn't come within 10 degrees.

Gotta love microclimates of CT! But now I hate my spot.

59°F at my house 7:06am
55°F just 11 minutes away.

And it's not like I drove 1000 feet up. 260' to 450'.
