Yikes, Amazon is proposing yet another distribution facility in our state. This one is in Cromwell and will be 400,000 square feet. Windsor just approved a $230 million distribution center for them. They just announced a new center in Danbury. And they still have massive centers in Windsor, Wallingford, Bristol, North Haven and Stratford. Over the past decade, Amazon has invested more than $1 billion in our state. Crazy. Jay

For the second year, Connecticut ranks No. 4 on Bloomberg’s Innovation rankings. We are behind only Massachusetts, California and Washington. That’s pretty impressive. Jay

Amazon correctly smells blood in the water. Much of retail is in their end stages.

Glad for the jobs, but IMO no US corp kills other jobs more efficiently than Amazon.

2 more factories closing in Ct. 200 jobs lost. Indications from them are it is NOT Covid related.

Don’t they also make cables for electrical systems and elevators? I don’t see that going away anytime in the foreseeable future. After all they will need these types of wires for building the college campus buildings of the future.

Sounds like a lot of demand then. Now I'm surprised it's going belly up. What a 180.

I doubt they can.

What is their purpose at this point?
