Travel,, retail even worse. Amazon didn't close them til May 15th then say 50% occupancy....
Car sales, manufacturing, Good luck selling cars if Hertz fails.

Restaurants, too many ripple effects to count.
But yeah tech stocks are great

Please stop the off topic discussion. If you wish to discuss the national economy, there are other forums for that. JayCT, Moderator

Amazon keeps targeting our state for distribution facilities. The latest proposed facility is Danbury which will provide 400 new jobs. This is in addition to facilities in Stratford, North Haven, Windsor, Trumbull and Wallingford. Great news. Jay

It is good, as any jobs are welcome at this stage. Amazon is adding everywhere. They smell blood in the water. Perfect time to finish off many department store chains, revenue shifts to Amazon.

More bad news due to the Covid-19 crisis. TicketNetwork, the sports and entertainment ticket seller, is laying off 150 workers. Let’s hope it’s temporary. Jay

Shocked it did not occur far sooner. I'm also shocked ESPN has not made severe cuts.

Stub Hub and Priceline would also worry me regarding layoffs. Business at each is horrible, long-term.

Anything tied to live events or hotel reservations is in dire condition. IMO it will be at least 2021 before people feel safe in crowds or in rooms 100 strangers used the same year. I think simulcasts will take over entertainment for a long time. I doubt families do much vacationing in 2020. Corps also will remain severely cutting travel.

I know of them only because they used to be located in a building that face I84 W until a year of so ago. Had they moved into a smaller building before?

No, they are still in that building along I-84. They never were the only tenant there. Jay

Got - the last time I drove by I thought their sign was gone and giant FOR LEASE sign was up. Then again, it's been a while.

I saw that too. I’m not sure why their name was taken off the building but their address is still listed as 75 Gerber Way East which is that building. Jay
