Behind............

Alabama
Georgia
Florida
LSU
Texas A&M
South Carolina

And maybe the 8th best, if they had to play Vanderbilt in Nashville.

Yep. Cream puffs.

I'm angry that ND convinced me that this would actually be a competitive game. Next time I see an Irish fan, I demand that they pay me my bar tab for this evening. Wasn't worth it.

From now on, non-SEC teams must simply keep their mouths shut. If it's an all-SEC title game, well, that's just the way it is and y'all have to sit down, shut up, and accept it. Don't like it? Hey, NFL playoffs are on. Your favorite local NFL team can win....with SEC players.

Vandy would beat ND. Not a doubt in my mind.

ND at best would be 4th and that is a reach. If they had to go through an SEC schedule I'd say they'd be 6th.

Four of the five starting offensive linemen for the Steelers this season came from SEC schools. Thanks for nothing.

The beating was so bad that I seriously doubt that ND would have a winning record in the SEC. The cold hard truth is that SEC is head and shoulders above other conferences.

Well, at least they have that. Otherwise you have a collection of mostly sub-par 6-year drinking schools.

Threads like these are like that one buddy that brags about the $800 stereo he had put in his $600 car.

I completely agree that the SEC has a great stereo.

Ok.........now that all the smoke has cleared, can we all just admit that the Irish had no business being in that game last night and that the BCS ranking is crap AND that a play-off system is long over due?? I know that was a run-on sentence! LOL! Yes...the Irish were undefeated. But against Pitt....Wake Forest.....Navy......Boston College??? They even "squeaked out" wins against some of these.......They lucked out with Stanford. They basically played an NFL team last night! They were exposed. And let me say this....Manti Teo should not have won that Heismann. The right guy won the trophy, because Manziel beat the monster and he set another record in the Cotton Bowl last week. Also if Teo cant handle Lacy, he sure cant handle running backs like Foster, Peterson and others!

ND is soooo over rated. I know. they won every game in front of them to get to the BCS. but still, they didnt deserve to be there last night. I hope that just shuts everybody up about the vaunted ND.

ugh.
