Thank you for this. I was there yesterday and noticed work going on inside the corner unit facing Sears.

Why is 'Ninja Express' at the old Hu-Hut for? Remember, I don't live here so I'm just going by what I see.

well, looks like Allen Thomas' only competition for the Mayor seat is Tom Best...good sign that he has a good shot of being re-elected which is good for Greenville.

Good new. I hope that Thomas is reelected. He certainly has done quite a bit in his time as mayor. He certainly has the energy to devote to getting Greenville to a different place. It might not all be his doing, but just from the things announced in the past year for Greenville it seems that he has had his hand in almost all of the changes.

Here's the ECU Master Plan (probably somewhere else on this thread)...

http://www.ecu.edu/masterplan_docs/F...or_viewing.pdf

but I noticed in the plan (from Feb 2012) that some major differences already exist...one being that the plan listed the Multi-modal facility as being between Cotanche and Evans...and another the Georgetowne complex, which seems to mirror the look of the Reade St corridor planned.

Found this from Uptown Greenville's facebook page.

There will be a Food Truck Rodeo going on at the National Night Out at the 5 points plaza on August 6th.

I'm like a hound looking for the ones in Raleigh. Glad Uptown could get something like this organized. I'm sure there will be more if this one is successful.

I'm not sure who is doing the actual organizing. They had one of these in Annapolis, MD a few weeks ago.

Sure! Basically a Food Truck Rodeo is a group of Food Trucks that are gathered in the same area.

Normally it's about 5 or 6 trucks that's considered a Rodeo, but downtown Raleigh had one last month that had over 50 trucks and thousands of people attended.

To me, there's just something cool about getting food from a food truck. Most of the time the food is good, and I usually get something that I've never had before. They haven't announced any of the food trucks that will be at this event on August 6th, but they should in a week or so.
