We are a family of 5, will be moving from NYC next summer. Husband works at Cleveland Clinic, I will work around downtown. We are looking for a nice family oriented community w/in 30 min of both workplaces with excellent school and close to parks for hiking. Any suggestions?

Shaker Heights is what you're looking for.

No, because they aren't problematic.

You won't find anything within 30 minutes of each place with nature nearby and with a good family atmosphere. If you want to stretch the distance, then it's possible. But your options will all be bland and boring. Shaker is a classic, nationally known suburb. Don't be scared by clueless people on the internet before you even get here. Look into the Fernway area of Shaker.

Bay village. Not sure about commute time but I would say it has the best of both schools and nature.

Look into Shaker Heights for a house and send your kids to private schools then if you do not trust the public schools. Greater Cleveland is more affordable than NYC and I'm sure you can afford a nice house in a nice community as well as private school too. Either that or stretch the commute further to Beachwood, Pepper Pike, or Solon which are all not as close to Downtown or nice parks as Shaker Heights.

Shaker Heights seem to have some municipal park type stuff, that's not what I meant by "nature". How about the community of Brecksville? Cuyahoga Valley NP and Brecksville Reservation seem quite good.

Shaker Lakes, Shaker Nature Center? Doesn't count? THen I guess you've resigned yourself to Suburbia, USA. Good luck in Brecksiville. It sucks. Oh well. Have you been to Cleveland before?

Shaker Heights. The Jewish suburbs of Cleveland are your best shot.

Yeah, most of the east side suburbs along 271 would work. Even if you're in Beachwood,Chagrin Falls, or Solon you're still <30 min from the national park(which is great, BTW). Mayfield would be closer to the Clinic but further from CVNP. Finding a happy medium between the two might be a good compromise.

Lake county would also work. Mentor is ~30 minutes to the Clinic and downtown on the shoreway. Admittedly, you would be much further from the national park. There's always the metroparks.
