Saks is planning to have a casino at its NYC flagship.

Quote:
“The casino at Saks will attract an affluent global tourist and not prey on people who shouldn’t be in casinos,” Baker said.

The renderings show stylishly dressed guests, seated at roulette tables, posh bars and upholstered chairs, clinking cocktails. They enter the building via a separate entrance on a red carpet that extends out onto the sidewalk and opens into a vast lobby area with multiple chandeliers and plush decorative rugs.

Seems quite odd and surprised that it's legal!

I didn't know Saks was now owned by the Hudson's Bay Company — the oldest commercial enterprise in English-speaking North America.

Not sure if we discussed luxury fragrances, but Creed is opening a store in Philadelphia (KoP).

The new Prada Houston location has been revealed. Opening date hasn’t been announced but appears they’ll be opening soon

As I guessed, their new store would be closer to the new luxury wing

Creed is a notable one that wasn’t in the original list. They’ve expanded a lot in USA after the pandemic

Creed locations in USA

LA
Houston
Vegas (2)
Miami
New York
Santa Clara (SFBA)

I guess Philly coming soon. Any more?

The Dallas location should open this Spring at NorthPark Center between Isabel Marant and the relocated Gucci store.

I saw on social media that Alaia (Maison Alaia) is opening their first standalone US store in New York City, 149 Mercer Street.

How excited!

141 Mercer is just right by Mercer Hotel and across the street from Balenciaga.

I’m curious about the new design as Azzedine Alaia passed away a few years ago. I love his design, would spend $600 on a skirt he designed when I was a just student 25 yrs ago, and I never wore it because I loved it too much.

Happy with Prada in Houston too. Miuccia Prada is the Godmother of all the pretty birds .

Nice! Currently, they have a concession at Bergdorf. Nice to have a standalone boutique
