I love how people try to challenge Gunion Powder and I. Don't y'all think we know these things because we live here? We experience Houston everyday, and when we go against what y'all have said, y'all think we're lying.
And the reason why many black Houston posters don't respond is because they don't take CD posters seriously and feel that they don't have to respond to posters who don't know the city. Don't believe me, check my DMs; we always have side conversations regarding y'all lack of knowledge of the city and its black life.
Also, Gunion Powder and I have lived in Atlanta and now live in Houston, so we have knowledge on and experience in both.
I've heard the complaint here that there's nothing to do besides go to the club or bar. This complaint baffles me, but hey.
Every major city has plenty of nightlife but the vast majority aren't "party cities" and that includes Houston. DC has a lot more nightlife options for Black folks but it's not a party city either.

Blacks from here who go to Atlanta to party see no difference. Go figure.
What are the HOTTEST spots on Friday and Saturday night?
Dude. What does a list of party spots prove to you if it's a party city or not? Your mind is already made up. You go off this notion that they do nothing in Houston. That shows you know little about the city.

Yeah but his point stands. Houston is as much a party spot as DC and even Atlanta. Unless you're Miami or New Orleans, your city isn't a party city when it comes to Southern cities. People from around the country go to Miami and NO to party. Same isn't said for the other unless an event occurs. Fieldm seems to overrate how he thinks Atlanta is as a party city.

I made no mention of Atlanta.
Overall, the only cities I'd call "party cities" in totality are Miami, New Orleans, and Las Vegas. Atlanta is more of a Black party city and even then, not as much as it used to be in the post-Freaknik/Buckhead Village era. The nature of partying/nightlife is changing in a lot of cities as they continue to develop and gentrify.
Friday - Empire, Grooves, Pure, Gage, Epic 22, Belvedere, DBar, etc.
Saturday - Crimson Lounge, Hudson, Grooves, Faces, etc.
One of the hottest party promoters is about to open 2 supper clubs.
Thanks!
