BAJAN,

You ever heard of Sugar Ray Leonard or Winky Wright? Just to name a few. Philly is not on DC's level in anything. No city outside of NYC, Vegas and Miami parties like DC does. There is a defunct show that features Marc Barnes & Taz called "Party Boyz" that came on BET or TV One, plus DC has been featured on E's "Wild On" which highlights the best party spots in the world.

Nephi,

You also forgot no Superbowls! Ask Jill Scott why she put a go go beat to her song "It's Love." Put any wack Philly rapper up against my man Wale.

Everything shuts down in Philly at 1:45 a.m. And to the poster who tried to go on how we dress in DC, get real son. Dudes in Philly rock purple tims. Offbrand dudes.

Really? I would think cities like Chicago and Los Angeles would mop the floor with Washington DC in terms of partying...especially Chicago (their last call is at 4 so that automatically makes them much better according to your logic).

One thing is clear: you're only focusing on one aspect of nightlife since all you seem to talk about is nightclubs. Nightclubs are awesome, but they're only one aspect of a city's nightlife.

You're also still avoiding downtown. You constantly bring up the entire city...does this mean you're finally admitting the Downtown DC nightlife is inferior to the other two cities?

I'm just giving you a slice of DC from a black perspective. I don't think Chicago or LA comes close. As for other races and ethnicities yes. CC is cool but it's really small compared to DT DC. Most of these people can't even get their hands around DT DC. All they know is the mall or government buildings. DC is definitely a nightclub city. Boston and Philly have much better bars. I said that 200 posts back. I have been to Philly and the nightclubs didn't do it for me. I am use to bottle service and VIP type places. Boston definitely doesn't do it for me. Too many frat boy polo/khaki types. It reminded me of GTown.

Look at that, absolutely no vibrancy daytime or nighttime in the nation's capital. What a dead city. It freakin blows! ;-)
