I guess he means "Boom's." It is in the building that used to be Shoney's at 36th Street in Kanawha City. Of course, that's only a few blocks up from CAMC Memorial, and just one block from Taco Bell. I haven't been in Kanawha City for a couple of months, so I'm guessing that Boom's just opened.
Don't know. I've never been in the place. Joey's downtown is now a Lisa's, and Griff's in Riverwalk is now a Lisa's. There must be either a lot of Lisa's or Lisa has several eating establishments.
Lisa's sign is no longer at the old Griff's location in Riverwalk.
Looks like Applebees dropped the argument, and more than likely Panera will come into Liberty Square in Teays Valley! This will be a good add for the Scott Depot area. This will be the 3rd Panera in the metro, with a fourth in Barboursville.

That is good to hear they dropped the feud. I don't really care for Panera Bread other than their cookies, but they do seem to be popular.
I heard from a reliable source that 5-Guys will be expanding its footprint by opening locations in Kanawha City as well as Teays Valley.
No way? 2 more five guys? They are always packed anytime I'm at either location.
I was surprised to hear this, but my source is dependable. I can see These two locations working out well due to access and proximity to the interstate traffic. Something that the two Charleston locations so far do not offer.

That's something I hadn't thought about and makes absolute sense. Kanawha City could use a few more choices that aren't Arby's and Burger King.
Yep, I too am holding out hope that TV can attract a better restaurant in the near future.
