And other workers don’t have families they live with? Who have a lot more outside/societal contact on a daily basis. Again another reason it’s probably safer; it’s a closed environment.

Short answer: camps need to be careful about the virus.
You can catch the virus anywhere and bring it home. Give me a break.

Alameda County just rescinded their mask mandate after a few weeks after citing noncompliance as a main reason. Getting people back into masks is going to be near impossible at this point if even the most liberal part of the state can't do it.

If no virus is brought with campers or workers and the environment is truly closed (no day trips, no visitors), it's very safe. But some of those onerous restrictions are about keeping the virus out at the onset. There are many worse things in the world to complain about. Anyone here ever get sick on vacation? You probably remember it well and it dampened the experience. Let kids have a sickness-free time. I say they, their bodies, especially need it with the high chance they'll be infected at least twice in other times of the year.

Only 34% of children 5-11 in California are vaccinated, and only 66% of kids 12-17. Suzy is just trying to explain what happens when there's an outbreak.

Link to this belief that you keep posting over and over, despite the data that doesn't support it?

Short answer: camps need to be careful about the virus.
But these camp "cases" are barely common colds! A lot like the "exploding cases" everywhere else.

Actually, it was because case numbers fell.
