Can't imagine they wouldn't give him a medical exemption. They want to encourage people who sit out a race due to injury, not dissuade them.
Of course, he still has to win a race.. Which.. Shouldn't be a stretch for him.
That's what I figured. Plus Chase is currently the most popular among fans. Having Chase in the Chase is good business (if he wins to get in of course).

and they've removed the 'top 35' rule.. Not like that was difficult to accomplish anyways.. So, with the exemption, win and you're in.
They haven't issued it yet to see what the timeframes are. But.. They've pretty much established that 15 races is OK.. And I don't see any real way that Chase would be out that long with a fairly simple (seemingly) broken leg.
Sounds like they put a plate in to help it heal even faster.
I suspect the standard 4-6 weeks. Seeing as it's his left leg.. Pending on his driving style, may not even need to be that long. Especially since they really don't use the clutch too much anymore.
Well I dont know if that race met expectations... unless your a Hendrick fan! All 4 Cars in the top 10, kudos to Josh Berry after being in the back/midpack most of the day. Kyle Larson is really making it hard to be a fan, its just dumbfounding. The kid is terrible on restarts.
Was hoping Harvick would of clinched it. RFK looking much improved this year wont be surprised if they both get a win.
WillyB 2 wins in the first 4 races! Who was the last guy to do that?
Danica is so bad that, they'd be better off with just two commentators. She's like a restrictor plate at Martinsville -- don't want it, don't need it.
I agree.
And then, she has the audacity to talk about what the various drivers are doing, or how they should be doing this or that. Seems to me, the only thing she knew how to do really well, was "wad up" first class race cars.....

RFK does look much improved. I won't be shocked either way, win or not this year. It's tough to win, but they're running in positions that give them a shot. So.. I think they're probably still half a year to a year away from being a consistent frontrunner.. But.. The ability to put yourself up there to have a chance.. Just need things to shake out right for you.
Last year was an abnormality when we went.. Quite a ways without a repeat winner. 8 races before a repeat winner, which was Byron again.. Who.. Then didn't really run well the rest of the year.
It was 8 races in 2021, too, though.
But.. the official answer to your question is.. 2020.. Logano won at Vegas and Phoenix.

Was it just me, or did it seem half the time Bowyer's responses to her were of the "What the hell are you talking about you moron?" variety? It was like I could hear that just bubbling under the surface.
Maybe i'm reading it wrong.. But.. He doesn't seem to like her.
I can't really stand listening to her, either.
