Here on the Olympic peninsula, yesterday it was heavy rain and wild wind......we didn't lose power in my area but a lot of flooding and power lost west of us. Highway 101 was closed with water over the road way as the rivers over flowed their banks west of Lake Crescent..
Forks which is about 80 miles west got over three inches of rain yesterday for a total of over 100 inches so far this year...we here in Sequim's blue hole has gotten about 11 inches for the year which is still under our yearly average.
Today its blue sky and normal temperature for this time of the year.
Snow pack is picking up on the Olympic mountains and seems to be getting lower every day.

Nice beautiful morning.
Here is a couple of pics of my running around.
The River pic was about the same location as 2 days prior.

This dog knows how to fully appreciate a sun break after the storm!

Had some near perfect fall weather today in Vancouver with no wind and a fantastic mix of clouds and sun.

Wow Forks got over seven inches of rain in one day....no wonder the rivers over there are flooding and 101 is closed.

Mtn Surfer, these photos are so beautiful. If this is what WA is like, then I need no more convincing to pack my bags and head north!

Pick a high spot! There are a lot of people that I'm sure are going to take their flood insurance check and run.
