Sunny & breezy today, sky is blue not gray, hardly any clouds all day. If I could get a day like this at least 2x week during winter, I would be a happy camper. I still haven't been able to post pics!

Yeah, Whatcom and Skagit Counties could be dumped on again with up to 4" of rain. Seattle and areas south look much drier, if an inch of rain can be considered dry.

I think that's why we enjoy them so much more this time of year, because they are a welcomed surprise.

I also find it helpful to take sun break trips during the midst of the longest string of cloudy days during winter. I'm not sure if you are able to travel at all, but its a nice way to get a little sun and realize its really not that bad. It will clear eventually like these glorious days we've been having lately.

BTW, have you tried posting your photos on a photo hosting site yet like I shared last time?

Here's a super easy one you don't even have to register for. I just tried it at it took 30 seconds to upload an image and then copy the link used to share it below.

Go to https://imgur.com/

Click the New Post button in upper left. Drop your picture in there.

Once downloaded, right click on it and 'Copy image address.' It will look like this: https://i.imgur.com/vKTw1XN.jpeg

Then, simply use that URL to embed it here using the picture icon above. Try it out. Nothing to lose.

For what it’s worth I find it easier to just upload the pictures here. There is only limited storage so if I fill that up we will have to see what to do then.

Looks like we are definitely going to beat yesterday’s cloudy forecast - we had a thin layer of fog that is burning off quickly. :-)

Diana, it looks like you got our sun today! Vancouver was in the clouds all day.

Interesting that there is a storage limit when attaching photos like you do. I think once get the hang of hosting your own pictures, it will be just as easy or even easier. The hardest part is learning something new for most folks, I think. As an IT and photo guy, I've been doing this stuff for decades. So, there is essentially no effort required.

I'm in Los Angeles for Thanksgiving and we just got an alert that SoCal Edison is shutting off the power tonight due to high winds and dry conditions and may not come back on until Friday...so potentially no power on Thanksgiving!? I'm totally all for minimizing risk, but seriously??

Today though is still dry… I think there is rain coming but it’s dry and calm at the moment.

You won't be too dry up here and if the power shuts down it will be because the wind knocked a tree or branch onto the lines or a transformer blew out. Many of the lines are above ground and we have a lot of trees...so power outages happen.
