I feel like I'm leaning in that direction.

I always keep my chamber empty in my revolvers, just in case. I know it takes two squeezes, but someone else doesn't.

If you want to possibly bet your life or the life of a loved on that, rock on there John Wayne. My philosophy is…better safe than sorry.

If the 9 mm is comfortable for you to shoot, and your only issue is the slow loading, then consider that you won't be loading the first time in a defense situation either if you can load it at your leisure and keep it loaded.

You need to be familiar with it and comfortable with handling it, but speedloading won't likely ever be necessary.

The revolver has a safety, the Ruger LCPII .380 doesn't.

like i said , plenty of mob executions involve .22 where one can selectively place a shot .

however that is different then a typical shooting where you need to count on dissipating energy stopping an attacker

There are always pros and cons with any choice, and people have different abilities and needs... John Wayne

the photos he posted are insane and make you realize how fast things can go down in just seconds and even if armed you may be in a poor situation to defend yourself
