Stillwater didn't get the heavy part of the storm. Not quite 3 inches fell.

2-4" in SW OK but I have two-foot drifts in parts of my property. Warming up nicely this week.

Huh? It was just a typical Oklahoma snowstorm with temps in the afternoon a little colder than usual from being in the teens, rather than 20s.

1+ inch of sleet started this morning, with thunder-sleet. As it rolled off the roof, it really piled up. 3 feet deep, it took an hour plus to move this (estimated weight ~1200 lbs).

David Payne is having the time of his life, he's been on pretty much all day. At least the field reporters are behaving themselves, not the usual driving violations during storm season.

Is this Six Flags? Feels like a roller coaster...

It will be interesting to see if these unusually strong cold fronts will carry through on into March. In Oklahoma, during the first half of March, it has been known for low temps to get down to the single digits, but it's rare.

The cold weather comes and goes. 73-80 this week. And for someone who spent many a Summer in Tucskn and Phoenix. The summers are a piece of cake here.

Although most of our malcontents have moved on or gotten banned... I used to laugh at those goofballs when they would try and claim that Oklahoma summers were like that of southern Arizona. Just like I'd laugh when they would try and claim that our winters were like International Falls.

Fact of the matter is as a rule of thumb our summers are better than any place south of here and our winters are better than any place north of here. And the inverse is also correct.
