That's basically the entirety of the Right-wing movement anymore. I really miss the days when everything wasn't the stupidest conspiracy anyone could think of.

Lincoln was far from being an advocate of decentralized government. And the advocacy of protectionism was an outgrowth of the stage of development relative to other industrialized nations at which our industry was at the time ..it was to our economic advantage then to adopt a protectionist stance.
