+++++++++ THIS THIS. No one in the budget room sees this as a problem? A really big problem? My question is they do, it's easy math. But why?

Why are intelligent people still there?
It is was a beautiful city, concept, amazing opportunities in work, education, culture and you don't need to own a car! But of course we ruined it....... There is a saying that says this was inevitable.. exactly....

I grew up in early '70's Brooklyn. It wasnt a beautiful city, but there was no place like it. The city made great strides in improving the waterfront areas everywhere from what I see. So many changes in the skyline. The COL has always been high, it was always crowded and in need of repair. The crime was always an issue, but now has gotten way out of hand. Is this just another chapter in the ever evolving NYC?

I've seen many cities all over the globe, and Itda, Manhattan is beautiful, amazing, one of a kind. The fact that it's designed as a grid makes it unmatchable. But I agree on all your other points? Perhaps it's a blip but their mayor better fix a good few things. If he wants to, or not. Residents who can will just continue to flee if it isn't. That's life.

A flood of High IQ migrants replacing dimwitted residents (who can then populate Texas and Florida) would be welcome indeed.

Replacing dimwitted residents with High IQ migrants would be welcome indeed. Our stupidest emigres would be very welcome in Texas and Florida where they would enhance the gene pool immensely.

Why? The proposed federal budget is $7.3 trillion. That’s why.

Of course. History works in cycles. Every dog has its day and every top dog eventually falls. Don’t worry though, when the black supremacists who are currently running this city run it into the ground, they’ll hand it off to others to fix. Then the cycle repeats. In the meantime, for a generation the city is absolute **** and the residents have to deal with it.

So if you have it all figured I don't understand why you're mad. Is there absolutely nothing you can do for yourself to make your situation better? Or do you enjoy complaining about things that you don't have control over? This is victim mentality at its finest.
