This is simply a question of mathematics. A barely literate Middle aged woman with children in tow will never be positive ROI for NYC taxpayers so long as we have a welfare state. Housing, food, education , and healthcare all need to be provided. What’s the point of taking in immigrants if they’ll be in one form or another of welfare for their entire lives? It’s not a sustainable model.

Most forget that the illegal immigration from MX in the 80’s and 90s was mainly young, single men. Single men utilise very little welfare because they’re not eligible for much. Hence, they turned out to be positive ROI for NYC.
Except most of them didn't come for work, they come for entitlements. When we have so many on the welfare class and not working. Who is paying taxes to support the welfare class?

Name one country that has taken in more illegals and has been more generous to them than the U.S.

Meanwhile, you try to go into the countries these people came from and ask their government if they will give you free housing, food, transportation, healthcare, education, phones, internet, driver’s licenses, etc. and all paid for by their taxpaying citizens. You’ll get lynched by angry mobs.

The Left has made us into the biggest suckers.

America is pro business not pro people. It was never about people.
That’s what the immigration wave in the 80-90s was about.
These people from the current wave won’t be working. These aren’t mainly single, young men not eligible for welfare. In previous decades, the welfare state wasn’t as extensive either. You’re grossly misreading the current situation. If this was about cheap labour, conservative states, which don’t have extensive welfare systems, wouldn’t be as aggressive In sending migrants away. You don’t think conservative states love cheap labor?

Texas is booming and there’s a severe nationwide construction labor shortage. Why would they send cheap manual labor away? Maybe because it’s not cheap nor is it labor?

Eric Adams has been begging for money from the Feds and **** talked his way out of the good graces of the Biden White House. Why? Because all these migrants are cheap labor? The city is estimating that they’ll spend $4 billion this year (which really means at least $8 billion). This “labor” is very cheap indeed. Don’t be a fool.

Always easy to spend someone else's money. Just curious, how much of your own money and/or time have you donated to this cause?
And, pray tell,
what cause would that be?

Too greedy/lazy to part with a few dollars or a few hours? There are plenty of private organisations dealing with migrants in NYC. How much money and/or time have you donated?

It should read, "Keep going north, to Canada! Which is soooooo much better than here, and soooooo much more progressive......oh, wait a minute. They probably won't take one of you in, let alone all of you. I guess you're stuck here, then. The only country dumb enough to have you."

Their French leaning culture doesn’t mix well with South American culture . Not even liberalism can help there.
It’s like dealing with Neanderthals.

Canada has immigration standards. They're not looking for people to just come in and sit on the dole for life.
