You're going to be fine, StuckPa. In fact, you'll probably love it here as much as I do.

I have read on here several others have said the same thing. Is it possible they dont want people moving there? We went to look for a house there but considering other areas beacuse everyone was so rude....I thought the south was suppost to be friendly? What is going on there...

Its the beach, not everyone at the beach is going to be all kind and nice. By the way, there are many parts of the South that do not share in the culture. (usually near major cities and tourist destinations).

My wife and I just returned from a week-long MB, SC visit and we found the people very nice. We even commented to each other how nice people were. Thank y'all!

BTW we are from PA and unfortunately have to agree that, very in-general, people are not nice (not the south-type of nice anyway ).

I'm not even sure that's still the slogan,it may have went away and been replaced with the state's website

Default Dogs on the Beaches

Has this been going on for a long time? I mean, I like dogs but do they NEED to be running on the beach? And Bocci ball stuff. What the heck is this. Guys throwing this balls onto the sand? I went to the beach for some peace and quiet.

Sounds painful(to me Been around it long enough to be able to pick it out wherever I may roam and thus bring up harsh memories
