I just fixed the link. To be honest the numbers surprised me too. Greater Minnesota is full of poor white people though so I guess that added up.

Is your link talking explicitly about MN?

Blacks make up about....4% of the population, correct? So they use three times their numbers in public housing?

If whites are 86% of the MN population, seems they are underrepresented in the housing assistance stats then, too.

And I saw a statistic not long ago that pointed out that minorities (whom are around 15% of the entire population of MN), use HALF of all welfare resources in the state. That is a staggering and astonishing overrepresentation and use of a tremendous amount of resources for such a small segment of the MN population.

I think both statements are true. It is well known that there is a large racial wealth gap in Minneapolis/St. Paul. At the same time, the state, which is still majority white, has TONS of poor white people and they utilize a healthy majority of the state’s available publicly subsidized housing.

"Tons"? "Poor" by what standard?

Considering MN is at the top of the entire nation in all manner of stats (education, health care, life expectancy), I call BS on this statement that there are "tons" of poor whites.

The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services set 2017 poverty guidelines as household income below $24,600/year for a family of four and below $12,060 for an individual.

Look at the report I linked. Minnesota has 15679 public housing units. 78% of these units are occupied by white people.

What is the poorest city in the state you ask? Answer = Little Falls, population 8696…and 96% white.

In a state that is 5.64 million people. Does that confirm there's "tons" of poor whites in MN?

The most relevant stat is: half of all welfare goes to the 15% minority residents.

You’re splitting hairs, friend. I think the takeaway here is that your assumption that all the poverty and public resources in the state are used by minorities and refugees is false. It’s a myth. Please get over it so we can move on.

I never claimed minorities use "all" the welfare. I do stand by the statement that they are massively over represented in the use of welfare though (and you yourself don't deny it it).

Moreover, and coming back to the original intent of this thread (crime), they are also massively over represented in the violent crime stats as well (which I'm sure you won't refute either).

Have a nice day.

Only 6% of Minnesotans are black, so the 12% of blacks using section 8 housing is grossly disproportionate.
