So does (or did) the Motel 6 in Ponderay. We stayed there for 3 months while we built our cabin with 2 kids and 2 dogs. The things we do to live here....

Are "Peepers" little frogs? Used to have them years and years ago when I lived in the mountains of California...sometimes by the thousands! They make the sweetest sound!

Yes that be them. I can hear one and usually the rest are not far behind. They are here by the hundreds come spring. this one seems to be an early one. Happy to hear them. Still lots of snow on the ground.

Hey Misty, have a great trip to FL!

I've been off the porch for a few days--down with a nasty cold--when I'm too sick to go online, then I really know I'm sick!

So the peepers are back! So happy for you guys! Down here we're still having major storms, but in-between we've had some spectacular spring days. Hummingbirds are nesting in the back yard! Orange blossoms are out...Best time of year down here...
