Toyman, so you've got new kitties! Thanks for being such a good guy. So are you going to name them Val and Tine?
Elousv, that pic just made me want to sit down and weep...the smell of pine needles and wood smoke...a misty morning...the creaking of saddle leather...coffee over a campfire...hey, there are Westerns in the High Country, too!
And Fisherman, that grouse trap thing made my evening!

Hi CFF, One is named Renegade (after my ATV-wierd I know). The other one I suggested Valentine, the wife shot it down. Last time around we got a light siamese and a black one, we named them Baily and Kalauah-keeping on that theme the other new one is Jack Daniels.

Are you guys okay? Hope you got the info you needed, and hope nothing's wrong.

BTW, I wasn't sure what TIA stood for, so I looked it up. Now I know it's "Thanks in advance," but it might also be Telecommunications Industry Association, Transportation Intermediates Association, and Tampa International Airport, among others...

Not weird at all--I used to have a car that was named after one of our cats...it had the same face...

Just throwing it out there, new to the area and all. My wife did have a crown crack and ended up liking the dentist she picked. He mentioned that Idaho has no fluoride in the water and to get a rinse and use it daily.

My neighbor across the street has an incredible German Shepard named "Chevy" her owner drives a Ford and HATES Chevy's...LOL.. The previous owner obviously liked them...Ha!!

Heres my dog "Cracker" in front, and Bandit backing him up. Bandit passed before we moved... I miss that dog alot, she would have loved it here...

I had a good weekend, a group of us took the ATVs up over Hoodoo Mountain from Blanchard to Priest River. Enough snow to be a challange, but we all made it fine. Guys in the SxS (Rino) had there work cut out for them though. Lunch at the Feedmill in PR. Good food for a good price and nice, friendly service, I recommend the place. Not fancy if that's your thing, but lots of value. It was a good day, upwards of 70 miles, good friends, nice views and good food.

I took the wife out to the Firewood Grill (I think it's called, across from Mitchels) in PR on valentines day. We happened to go early (noon) due to some other stops we had to make. Food and service was good, but pricy. 2 lunches (sandwich with fries, and a salad), shared desert and a couple beers were around $50. Afterwards we stopped by the pet shelter in Sandpoint and added a couple kitties to our menagree-yes there is something wrong with us.

All around a nice weekend.
Hi Toyman...that's good to hear about the Feed Mill. I haven't been there for several years. They used to have a penchant for covering their steaks with a thick, flavorless sauce. We used to joke that it was piped in from the sewage treatment plant across the street. Yuck. They've changed hands a couple of times since then I think. i wonder why they haven't slapped a little paint on the place though.
It's the HardWood Grill across the street from Mitchell's. They are a bit expensive, especially for lunch or burgers. It is a nice place to be in the evenings. The lighting is cozy and the music makes for a nice ambiance.
