I got a third if the way down the list before I realized it was the usual syringe-a-phoid leftprop, except for the cheap and unnecessary shot at the Moscow police.

It's so quaint, isn't it, that the good people of Idaho can still be just "embarrassed" by things they don't like. Unlike you and I in our cities, where the situation is so out of hand that we can only keep our heads down and pray. Just in the past month, the grocery store where I (used to) buy my food was hit twice by shooters. First an assassination—15 shots fired through the window of a car on the rooftop garage, killing a man. Two weeks later over 40 shots fired in the ground level parking lot at a car—amazingly, no one hit.

Idahoans have it better than they can possibly know. I fervently hope they can hold on for a few more years, until I can make my much dreamed of escape from the city and get out there for a chance to enjoy nature's wonders while my body is still upright.

They missed one. The Kootenai County Central Republican Committee currently run by extremist and getting their stooges elected to the board of directors for the local community college. Just this past year, they paid a half a million dollars to the wrongly fired president and right now have two presidents, both with quite healthy salaries. Nobody, (but them), knows the end game, but the college is in real danger of losing its accreditation.

The college has two Presidents?
How did that happen?

I don't think you have the knowledge of the current (and past) Idaho political climate to tell us how we should feel. If you move here, get back with us after a few years after your move and then we can talk.

Also, there's no room in Idaho for election deniers. That allotment has been filled already.

This! I just saw more news concerning this topic yesterday. The Kootenai CCRC has quite the reputation around the state.

and is nowhere better illustrated than in Coeur d’Alene, where a radical right majority on the local community college board, with the support of radical local party leaders, have brought the school to the brink of losing its accreditation.

Good articles, (and opinion piece). Tells the story fairly well. When my term as a city council member is complete in about a year, I will probably not run for re-election. Main reason is that when I ran, the KCCRC was not involved in our local election. Last election a year ago, they were. Since I am not a registered Republican, (I'm not registered with any political party), there is no way I will garner their endorsement. Too many sheep live here, so there is no way I would win the election without their endorsement.

News about the Vallow-Daybell trial. Long article with lots of details:

Chad Vallow and Lori Daybell wanted to have a face-to-face meeting, discussing defense strategies. Hahahahaha! Denied.

If you’re following this case and want the best information, look into East Idaho News. Nate has been on top of this story from the start.

Yup.
Nate was just a cub when he moved here and took that news job, but he's famous now for sure.

Even he didn't expect it would take 3 years for it to come to trial, though.

The trial isn't far off anymore, so I expect we will all be witnessing the final chapter to this incredibly convoluted story pretty soon.

I had no problems with the judge's decision to send Lori to the state mental hospital for evaluation and confinement; if she was genuinely delusional, a trial's verdict would have eventually been thrown out after the first appeal.

Now, neither person can claim they're crazy. So the judge won't be granting either of them any more time to plot with each other.
I'm pretty sure Chad fully intends to throw Lori under the bus in the trial, but I'm not going to rant about this one so much as I have about the Moscow murders.

I think the Idaho forum isn't the place for me to go off on rants, and if you think I was obsessive, I know I am even more obsessed so about this pair than I am about the Moscow kids' murders.
