Does anyone know when Broward county might allow people to actually sit at the beach? Seems like other places have gone 1-2 weeks before fully reopening.

Why are the number of cases going up in Florida? This is the 3rd day in a row for an increased # of cases. Today (Saturday 6/13) Florida had an additional 2581 cases, yesterday (Friday 6/12) a previous high of 1902 cases were reported. Thursday (6/11) saw an additional 1698 cases.

Are the increased numbers due to additional testing? More opening up of the state? What's going on?

Sany, go down to "Rate of positive test results by day" graph......and right above it is the "total people tested" graph

May 24, there's a slight uptick...looks like about 5% of the people tested are coming back positive

..they about doubled the amount of people tested since May 24

The Food and Drug Administration rescinded the emergency use authorization for hydroxychloroquine to treat hospitalized COVID-19 patients on Monday, saying the drug carries too many risks without any apparent benefit.

Cue cries from liberals when deep state scientists get caught lying red handed and have to retract their paper because it was fraud.....

They were manipulating data, hiding data, and flat out making data up....got busted

...these were the papers saying "Trump's drug"..."didn't work"..."was dangerous"...etc

Who’s to blame? These three scientists are at the heart of the Surgisphere COVID-19 scandal

I read that in Jax a woman and 15 of her friends tested positive after visiting a bar.

Trump drug is garbage, this appears to be the best option currently:

Yes I saw that on the news, it was even on the BBC. I doubt it will matter much here, from what I see when I've gone to stores or out and about. Just this week I had a Pest Control Company and an AC company at my house. I live in a retirement community. None of their employees wore a mask, or asked me if I would prefer they do in the house. Today I went to store and their was at least 100 Trump supporters outside the plaza. None of them had masks on and few in the store had masks on other than employees. So I doubt the woman in Jax and her 15 friends testing positive will mean much in this state. Sad. Stay Safe.

Here in Jax, few people are wearing masks while in public spaces. It's clearly not "manly" enough for their redneck egos to do it.

With the RNC coming, it's simply inevitable that the cases and deaths rise here. Sad, indeed.
