Heads up for us poors who qualify, the “free” government Covid stimulus money was direct deposited into our bank account this morning.
Those of you who qualify might want to start checking yours.

The people who really make out like fat cats on free gov't money are the wealthy elites anyway so no shame here.

I filed my taxes in mid February so I'm wondering if they will use my 2019 or 2020 return. My 2019 return will disqualify me, 2020 though I should qualify.

Start a small business, then apply for a seven figure “forgivable loan”.

Got my double checks this week. My district handed out bonuses (they taxed it, so saying we'd get a certain amount and then dropped it a lot was a bummer) and my $1400. The IRS will get $400 back when I file my 2020 taxes. My understanding is that they went off the most recent filing. I made about 3k too much to qualify for the full amount in 2020 so I held off on filing. Like I said, they're just going to get some back. I did the same last year by sending back like $600 on my $1200.

Did they direct deposit or send you a check? I didn’t think they would send checks out this soon.

Direct deposit. If your account is linked it should get there more quickly.

Anyone happen to know any good upholstery shops for replacing / re-skinning vinyl/leather on car plastics? Those summers finally caught up with her.

Wooohooo ... the wind blew apart the fence!

I didn’t even notice until the neighbor came by and let me know that their dog got loose into my yard. I’ve been waiting for that strip of plywood to give way. It got pretty real last night. Today was eerily gloomy too.

Wonder if I can be that odd neighbor with stone or bricks going up 8’ high to keep the Coyotes out ...

You could try the same setup like they have outside the Capitol in DC.
