Haven’t had any power outages here in Brushy Creek at all this year. (TXU)

We had a flicker during the rain storm a couple weeks back, but computers didn't even restart (AE). Other than that, I can't recall a power loss in the last year or so, although there might have been flickers while we were not here. Haven't had to reset the microwave clock, which is the bell-weather .

I have had a few outages down by me in southeast Austin, but I assume it's from the construction on 183. I've never had any experience with PEC because I actually live in Austin, not in the burbs.

The locale is strong with this one

They’re building like 5 different subdivisions around me along with an apartment complex. When I moved here it was only 2.

But, like I said, I'm right on the new 183 south toll road. Is there evening construction? Maybe that's part of it. My power goes out in the middle of the night and early in the morning.

I haven’t really paid much attention to when they’re working just that every week it seems like there’s new buildings in the horizon.

I’d say probably between 9 and 7pm. My power goes off usually mid day and sometimes at night but mostly mid day.

N4c, i feel your pain. We live in a deregulated city so we don't have PEC, but ONCOR is responsible for the delivery of the electricity and the lines. Our subdivision is over thirty years old, and we used to get frequent outages. To the point where it was necessary to buy a generator/get whole house surge protection. It was the one thing that sucked about where we lived. The neighborhood did put pressure on Oncor and I've noticed that the outages are less frequent but don't want to speak too soon. It was really bad...like after every storm.

Yeah. Mine are happening on perfectly sunny days not a cloud in the sky. The birds are singing and chipmunks are chirping, the bees are buzzing and N4C is sitting in the dark :S

I take it back, wife says we did have an outage in the spring, but it only lasted about an hour.
Old brain cells have outages too.
