Thanks, Jody.

The most popular theory about the identity of the horse on the license plate is that his name is Steamboat, a real live horse born in 1901 near Bosler. (There are at least three different theories as to his identity and that of his rider; one of which involves the Wyo National Guard and WWI...)

But what is not in dispute is the year their likeness first appeared on the license plate and the artist who drew the image for the Wyoming Secretary of State for that very purpose.

Who was the artist?

In between power failures, Hint #1:

The likeness first appeared on the Wyoming license plate in 1936.

Allen True is the artist credited with designing the actual image of the horse and rider that was used"

Spot on! Allen True, a Denver (...ahem) artist, was paid $75 to draw that image by Wyoming's Secretary of State at the time.

You're up, Froggie Legs.

Of the 9 common stocks listed on the NYSE for Wyoming, this one primarily deals with three counties in Wyoming, and is actually a holding company. Name the company, and which company they represent, and in which counties.

(sorry, trying to come up with something different )

I don't know the answer but that is a good question. It is getting harder and harder to find questions that haven't been already asked. Good one Froggie

It really wasn't that difficult of a question....at least I didn't think so... so my guess is no one wants to answer for fear of having to come up with a new question :P

I would probably take time to research it, if I knew anything at all about stocks. Zip, Nadda.

The only stock trading I know about is Ron traded two cows for a horse.
