Well sadly when they went to Wal-Mart to get money orders for their water and rent the money was missing. They walked around Wal-Mart for awhile and must had fallen out of my son's pocket.

Grammatically a punctuation inside a quote makes it unnecessary to follow the quote with another punctuation. In the above example the question marks serve the purpose of terminating the quotations without the superfluous comma or period.
While I was chatting with a neighbor, he stated that he is going to install a "cup-ee-ola" on the roof of his house.
I assume that he was talking about a cupola.
